I am sitting on my computer at home and I can hear several V8s in the distance. Throughout this time of the night it is very common to hear one car at a time rowing through the gears, but this time...multiple cars...the fury...the sound...it was closer than just the usual distance. So good, yet so illegal...

Yeah I heard a guy on my street an hour ago floor it through first. That's not too uncommon but hearing multiple engines is. And I never hear a V8 :(

Just I4's with fart cans...

Most of the time when I hear engines off in the distance they are motorcycles and the occasional ricer. Never hear V8s revving.

I live in Washington. recently the hub of racing was Kent. They had long straight four or even more lane roads due to the fact that quite a bit of it was industrial area. Now since cops have cracked down on street racers in kent they have moved to places like Everett. about once or twice a month I hear masses of cars just ripping through gears, and laying down rubber. Of course there is at least 1 or 2 cars every night in-between those events.

ddavidn You think there's a lot of them in Seattle? lol, There are quite a few fart cans in lynnwood. What area do you live in btw? We should organize an oppo meet sometime in the summer for the Seattle area. Maybe by a coffee shop: we do live in the birthplace of Starbucks. And update, I just heard 4 races in about 20 minutes. 3 of them sounded like fart cans, But the last one, omg*jizzes pants*... V6's.

That's true. Maybe not Seattle proper, but get down by Renton and further south into overprivileged white areas (that's where I live, Puyallup!) and you get so many fart cans and chopped springs...

We could always organize a larger meetup at Redmond's supercar meet thing, or in Tacoma at Griot's for Caffeine and Gasoline.

To far for me. lol. I was thinking somewhere right outside of the proper seattle area. Or we can just all go to a car meet like nissan fest or something. I have a cousin who lives in kent and he has the stereo typical rich ricer car. Red Infiniti g35 with chopped springs, spoiler, bodykit, and everything. Not much under the hood though.

Hah, that's terrible/awesome. Yeah, I don't really like going to Seattle... I've wanted to meet up with the guys down in Portland, but that's Portland. At 9am...

I have school so yeah. The only free time I get is during summer vacation. But I honestly love going to Seattle. I don't know why you wouldn't. I've seen a Ferrari f40 running around downtown.

There's nothing wrong with it. Just places I'd rather be some times. Lots of good coffee and brews though.

That's for sure. (idk about the brews though), but the best place to get coffee isn't from starbucks, but the hole in the wall shops.

Milstead, Storyville, Ladro, Tougo, Victrola... yeah, I know a few. None of them are Starbucks.

Have you ever been the the theater by the gum wall? like down an alley way from the pike place. Improv nights pretty funny.

Not been there, but I know where it is. I've been needing to tour coffee shops in Seattle again, so I will probably venture up there soon...

A few years ago around 12-3 am, I used to here street racing and street drifting every Friday night, now theres only a little bit of it and its 15 minutes away where some cruising happens, but cops are usually all over it..though when ever I'm out there, you can someitmes see lines of 4 cars breaking off, and know they're going somewhere to do illegal things.
